How to avoid damaging my hair

Hi, I am Arab but I have very curly hair which looks out of place and weird.
As most Arab guys have straight hair.

I also got called noodle hair once. So wanted to straighten my hair so I will fit in more.

But I hear attempting to straighten your hair can damage the roots? Is this true? Is there anyway I can straighten it without causing damage?
It will not damage the roots, it will damage the hair itself. You should use heat protection if you are going to be straightening your hair but you hair will still get damaged if you do that.
Your hair is curly. Just accept it and own it.
i think curly hair is cute ❤️*🔥

Nothing wrong with noodle hair! Curly hair looks amazing if you look after it!
