short circuit inductor question
(im going to attach an image of the circuit)
the first step in the question is to find I0.
the inductor causes the short circuit, I was wondering why the voltage drop is zero JUST across the 16 ohm resistor and not BOTH the 16 ohm and 12ohm? the lecturer said that it is always resistors in parallel and i'm slightly confused
how do I know across which resistors the voltage drop is zero??
any help is much appreciated!!!
