uniball pen in exams

am i allowed to use a black ink rollerball pen in exams? i’m just asking as I know gel pens aren’t allowed and some pens cause scanning problems so i just want to be sure

the reason you're told not to use gel pens is because they can smudge and make it hard to scan the pages. but uniball ink dries really fast - so it's not an issue don't worry - if you don't smudge!

jk even if it does smudge - they'll mark the physical copy of your paper if its readable
