french words in english language Q5

For question 5, are you allowed to include some french words to make your writing sound more distinctive and add some sort of a cool aura to it? I really wanna try doing it (obviously not overdo it) but just to ig stand out in a way?
can you give an example of what u mean? i’m sure it would be fine if it’s a sort of ‘common phrase’ thing. in my history GCSE we are told to write the government had a “laissez-faire” attitude (which i think means hands off in english)
