LSE events and guest speakers

I have an offer to study at LSE from next year and I’m given that I’d be quite interested in attending extracurricular events and speeches, I’m wondering if the university has much going for it in that department. I know it won’t have anything close to the Oxford Union which seems to have an interesting guest every two days, but would it be hard to find an event or guest that would suit any student at least once a fortnight? I know it might be difficult for LSE given that it’s a small university.

Also, if there’s not much on, would an LSE student be able to avail of events at other institutions? E.g. within the University of London.
