I am coming to study modern langs in September. I haven't selected a specific langauge though. I mentioned in my personal statement that I want to do mandarin chinese and I do french in college but I was told I can study just 2 langs at beginner level to advance so I was thinking german and mandarin so do we get to choose the langauges on arrival?
