What is durham’s rank globally/nationally?

Nationally: I’ve seen some say 3,5, 82, and 20…
Internationally: I’ve seen 37, 50, 180, 290….

These are really wide, is there any more clarity, and does this mean it is a better/worse uni?

Where did you find all of those?

If it were me, I would look into Complete University Guide UK to consider national rankings whilst QS and THE would be my international charts.

Also, from my perspective, it's one of the top universities in the world. But students from the institution can help you with better ideas. Don't know if that makes sense.

I meant if you're looking at it subject-wise, that would be a different point of view. And you know the overall one already.

If you want overall performance, go for Oxbridge, Imperial, UCL, KCL, St. Andrews and such.
