MSc HCI - Nottingham, St Andrews or York

Hello

I currently hold offers for the HCI programs at Nottingham, York and St Andrews for 2023-24. I'm awaiting a decision from Newcastle. I did my bachelors degree in psychology and my goal is to become a user researcher. Can any alumni, current students, or offer holders guide me on
a) which of these courses have the most relevant modules for UX research?
b) what is the difficulty level of these courses for someone from a psychology background? (certain coursework or projects that might be difficult etc.,)
c) which of these unis have high graduate employability rates or good career services?
d) what is the student community like in these unis?

I appreciate any responses and I'd love to connect with offer holders from these unis to talk more!

Hey, I ended up going to Nottingham. I don't exactly regret it but I feel like I didn't have the most relevant modules. I had to take two compulsory modules, design ethnography and mixed reality, both of which I had zero interest in and had a tough time getting through the coursework. In hindsight, I feel like the modules at Newcastle would have been better suited for me. I would suggest reading the module descriptions properly to see if they align with your career interests.

im kind of learning towards nottingham myself.
i have an offer from St Andrews but their course seems very programming intensive and notthingham seems more HCI related.

Can you tell me what the modules in Nottingham are actually like and which optional ones did you end up choosing?
