Can my school legally force us to drop a GCSE subject?
My school had problems with ratings and OFSTED since it's establishment only a few years ago, and it has recently been dropped by it's old academy trust. I'm in year 10 and we chose our options and began learning the content before this change in trust; they are now informing all year 10 students that we must drop an option to fit with their new timetable. Is it legal for the school to force this mid-gcse years and is there anything students or parents can do to prevent this change?
