M&S "under consideration" for 3 weeks?

im in the same situation! my interview was nearly 2 weeks ago and i havent heard anything. im woried that the guy that did my interview didn't even give my information to the superiors

hi, I dont know if anyone will be able to help with this but basically I applied to work as a customer assistant at m&s, went for an interview and was told I would hear back from them in the next week or so. Its been 3 weeks and my application is still "under consideration" so does that mean I've not got the job? Should I email? Or should I just

ok had my interview yesterday and it went very very well and the guy even said in the interview i answered the question by textbook and that i was the first person who answered questions "correctly". anyways at the end of the interview i was told that i would get a response by 5pm that same day and its the next day and i havent got anything and the mns website even says my application is under review. but the guy even told me that the induction date is 13th of september so maybe thats a clue im not sure.

Yea mate, had mine last week. Was told i passed and i would be joining the others with a group induction sometime around the 15th of September. Am yet to receive an actual email with the date, time and venue for it. I have emailed the recruitment team and i was told that my query would be forwarded accordingly. Am not sure so i'll be waiting till the weekend to see what happens. Also, what does your application status say?

Did you recieve the offer ? and the email

I went for my interview and initially the hiring managers told me that they would tell me early next week. But she’d try to tell me on the day. I got a call the same day of my interview that i had been successful. Now i’m waiting for induction info

I also applied and had my interview last week. Was told I passed and they’d be in touch. Feel like they’re ghosting me
To be fair the manager told me there was 12 other people for the same role and only 2 of us could get the job.

its a common thing they do, you waste your time going to an interview and they just leave you ghosted for months on end. I don't know why they cant just update people and calling their store is impossible.
