A-level English Lit NEA help!

I'm in year 12 working towards my NEA and soon I have to decide on a question as well as my books. I have no idea on what books I want to study but I do have a chosen theme (representation of race or of women). Could you please give me suggestions I am stuck!

I really liked reading "Home Fire" - I found it really cool after I'd read Antigone, which it's based on. Would be good for both those themes.

Antigone is a play by Sophocles. I read the Don Taylor translation (Bloomsbury).
Home Fire is a novel by Kamila Shamsie
Would definitely recommend reading them together
