Statistics Question

Hi, Could someone please explain why both the LQ and UQ values decrease when you move the values as described? I thought only UQ would decrease because a value above the UQ is being moved down? Thanks.

Markscheme:
Value of 20, LQ at 26 and outliers will not change B1 1.1b
or state that median and upper quartile are the values that do change
More values now below 40 than above so Q2 or Q3 will change and be lower M1 2.1
Both Q2 and Q3 will be lower

LQ does not change
Median and UQ do change
UQ / Q3 is lower as higher values are "taken out"
Median / Q2 is lower as lower values are "inserted"

You seem to miss out the median in your answer?
