business summer internship and criminal record checks

i have a unspent criminal conviction for a gbh, reciveed a community order and a fine and will be spent in november next year, any one have any ideas on if business related internships check

I’ve been informed that a GBH charge is never spent. It falls into the list of specified offenses (more serious violent or sexual crimes) so doesn’t qualify for filtering.
