Unique University Situation. Need help

Hi everyone, so I took a leave of absence in October 2022 for my first year studying Psychology at University to self-teach myself Computer Science.

I managed to learn a lot and upskill by working under a software developer who taught me the ropes.

September is approaching and I plan to do a Software Developer Apprenticeship so I can earn an income, and learn whilst living the university experience. I'm currently living in University accommodation away from home with my friends and paying rent myself.

Is it possible to stay as a university student (on a Leave of Absence status) whilst doing an apprenticeship?

I only want to stay as a university student due to certain privileges like facilities and students not have to pay Council Tax but I'm not sure if legally I can stay as a university student whilst enrolled in an apprenticeship.

Any help would be great!
