Personal statement
This is gonna be such a stupid question but are we alright to mention films in our personal statement? I'm sure we are but I don't know if it's a good idea

depends on what you're applying for. biology? probably not. film related? i don't see why not

sorry thought i mentioned i was applying for psychology in my initial post. i wanna think of mentioning alfred hitchcock's psycho and linking it to my interest in dissociative identity disorder as well as the controversy surrounding the diagnosis. then also maybe mention certain anti psychiatry movements or laings theories about schizophrenia and such. honestly idk i have no idea how to approach this seen as i've been skipping periods where we're supposed to write our personal statements cause clearly i'm an idiot
