Clearing 2023 at the University of Sunderland

It's that time of year again, Clearing 2023 is here and this thread is for you to discuss all things Results day, Clearing options, and anything else you would like to know.

To kick things off, let's go through exactly what Clearing is shall we?

Clearing is how universities fill any available places on their courses. You can apply for Clearing if:

•

You haven’t applied for university yet, but want to start a course in September

•

You have applied for university but aren’t holding any offers for a place at a university or college (e.g. you may not have achieved the grades required for your firm or insurance choice)

•

You’ve changed your mind about the offer you’re holding and want to study a different course or at another university or college

Clearing provides the perfect opportunity for you to explore your options and get another chance to apply for the course you really want to study
