Art GCSE mind map on figurative art

How do I start the mind map?
1. Put the main subject heading in a circle in the middle of the page.

2. Then on branches from the circle you put the subheadings

3. Then from the subheading you put titles of things you need to remember. You can include symbols and pictures. Also link things on other branches with dotted lines or numbered circles (ie fish on one branch and fish on another would be a circle with 1 inside. Another linked item would be 2 and so on.

4. The mind maps can be in colour or black and white.

5. They can be small or as big as you like.

6. Once you’ve done them try blurting them and see what you can remember.

They would in a similar way to bullet points in that you remember the position of the branch etc.

Tony Burzon did books on mind maps and also You Tube videos you may find helpful.
