I'd agree with the above poster, and definitely not anything to worry about in terms of making friends at this point! Very understandable to be nervous but can guarantee you'll have more chances to meet people. There will be lots of events running that will let you meet new people in welcome week before classes start, and there will be your classes themselves, anyone you're in accommodation with, and any society events you might be interested in if you don't end up with plans to meet people when you arrive. You'll receive some information about what's going to be on via email so keep an eye out for that.
