Quotes in Eng lit a-level

how many quotes should i learn for my eng lit a-level...like for each book
should i learn my quotes according to chapter/act or like character or theme?

Heyy! Im doing english lit too and I think my teacher said that we have to learn about 50 for each book
Im terrible with quotes, but Im organising mine by theme, but also writing a bit of a summary of each chapter and key scenes because honeslty I was too busy writing down notes in class to pay attention to remembering the story properly
