How much money do you need yearly?

Hi guys I know this depends alot but I'd really want to see any averages. How much per year would you need for all uni costs excluding unis yearly fees? I feel like if you had maybe 10K you'd be fine but let me know your experience. I'd be looking to do a flat share with maybe 4-5 other people with an en suite sharing kitchen with others.

You are correct, it can range from 10,000 up to 12,000. Food should cost up to 2,000.
Entertainment up to to 1,000
Rent cost from 4,500 up to 6,000
Everything else up to 3,000
It depends on location, habits, health needs and standard of living expectations.
The average student's annual costs for rent and basic living expenses in London will almost certainly be much higher than they would be in Cardiff or Middlesbrough.

For London, best to have a minimum weekly budget of at least £80 after paying for accommodation and travel costs.
Outside of London, at least £45-£50 a week.

So lets say rent goes up to 6K, and then food up to 2K, that's 9K, what would "everything else be"?
