Looking for some advice for anyone who went to Newstead sixth form. I have gone to NWS since year 7, am entering year 11 this September and I am thinking about applying to sixth form. I have always assumed I would just stay at Newstead but I am beginning to question it - I love the school but I live pretty far away and despite having great friends I don't meet up with them outside of school very often. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on how much the school changes at sixth form- is the vibe different with the externals joining and it becoming mixed? What's socialising like esp if not extremely popular. I don't want to just work for 2 years and miss out on life.

Honestly they don't give you much more freedom but I'm an external so it's hard to tell
