Can you get Masters funding after a PGCE?

I did a PGCE 20 odd years ago. This is equivalent to the now PGDE. Both of which give you undergraduate funding for that year.

Can you, or can't you, get masters fees and living loans subsequently? Are you considered to have already done a postgraduate qualification? I couldn't find the answer on whether it's considered prior study or not on the SAAS website.

Hello , you can get a postgraduate loan if your PGCE was not funded by the SFE and /or if the points of the PGDE does not meet up to the points a masters degree level equivilant.

A PGCE is not a Masters degree qualification.
Best of luck.
