Forgot to pay deposit - help!!
So I was given an offer for accommodation at White Rose View about 2 weeks ago, and I accepted the contract on the night I got the offer. I saw that I had to pay a £200 deposit but went on holiday the day after and I didn't want to bother my mum about it while on holiday so I thought I'd leave it until later...
Fast forward to today, I go back to the email and see it says that this deposit "MUST" be paid within 4 days of accepting the contract!!! Agghhhh!! I've done a deep dive into all the websites and they all say the same thing but none of them say why??
So my question is.. what happens if you don't pay the deposit within 4 days of accepting the contract? Does anyone know? I reallyyyy hope I've not lost my room

Get in touch with the accommodation provider asap and explain! They'll be able to let you know if the room's still available.
