Further Maths GCSE

If i want to do A level Maths , do i need further maths gcse? i got an advice to choose further maths gcse if you wanna do A level maths as it gives a foundation of A level Math

my school dont do it as a option and will be only given to outstanding maths students if they want to..i do higher maths gcse aqa

if i do get an oppurtunity should i take it but am scared i wont do well..

i'm not sure if you need further maths gcse to do A level maths

if you have the opportunity, i would take it if i were in your position

You don't need further maths GCSE in order to do A-level maths, I would just focus on trying to do well in GCSE maths and if you feel you can do further maths as well you may want to do it but it is much more important to focus on your maths GCSE.
