Nice to see your considering History at Lancaster, congratulations on your great predicted grades. I'm currently in my 3rd year studying geography at Lancaster and before coming to university I could definitely relate to how you are feeling about being nervous but looking forward to the independence.

I submitted my UCAS to the school 2 and a half weeks ago and they still haven't sent it off? How long did your school take? Should I be asking them to hurry up?

I wanted to get mine submitted before half term but today's the last day of term.

Mine hasn’t been sent off yet, but that’s because form tutors have been given the half term to compile all the teacher references. Perhaps that’s the plan at your school too?
Schools tend to prioritise the early applicants regarding references and such, so it could be that, too. If it’s not done by after half term, definitely chase it.
