In terms of level of teaching they should all be the same, you really can only pick on which vibe best suits you and if there are any particular things that you'd prefer e.g. more people, Drama Society, all-girls (if that's relevant to you), modern vs old.

Well it all depends what you're looking for in a college, obviously location will take into a large account of where you may want to go. As some colleges are quite close to the city centre, whilst others are closer to the the Medicine or Mathematical courses which are further west. For HSPS I think they are taught in the Sidgwick and Downing Site with Sidgwick for Politics and IR and Downing for Sociology and Anthropology, which I assumed from the location of libraries with related material and where some of the open day lectures were held.

You may also wanting to be looking at accommodation, Clare college for example, the one I'm choosing has very nice first-year rooms, whereas other colleges like Trinity which are quite big, had a shared corridor which I was not a fan of. Leading on to how many people are at colleges, some are big with many people which can mean you may find it hard to know everyone, and others which are small or medium where it can be more homely. Some colleges require college assessments for HSPS which are listed here: https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/files/publications/hsps_subject_requirements.pdf

There is a flowchart someone made that I will link here -> http://ilyacarey.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Cambridge-Colleges-Flowchart-4.pdf

Ultimately, the choice is yours, and you can always apply without a choice.
