Lectures at Cambridge

Are lectures mandatory at Cambridge or are they optional like at Oxford?
At Cambridge University, the attendance policy varies from each college to another, and from a course to another. Therefore, the policy of attendance at Cambridge University can not be judged. However, the University of Cambridge is one of the best universities in the UK, and students must commit permanently and make the most of the opportunities offered by the university, including attendees to lectures, lessons, seminars and events For Oxford University, the attendance policy is also different from college to another. Although students can in some colleges register the default attendance via the Internet, but attendees are often considered very important and recommended. In general, it is recommended to attend lectures at British universities, because they are an opportunity to take advantage of a comprehensive and personal educational experience, to share ideas and questions with colleagues and lecturers.
