Can I paraphrase my own text in personal statement?

Hi, I am currently in the process of writing my personal statement but I have used a paraphraser to paraphrase my text to make my statement sound better and correct any punctuation errors. Does UCAS allow this? and is it still considered plagiarism even though the text is all my own?
As someone who did personal statements last year (not an expert!), you'd probably get away with this?? I would say depends what the paraphraser does with your text. If it's uploading your text to the internet somehow or borrowing phrases from other published texts to put into your text, it's probably going to flag the UCAS plagiarism checkers. However, if the changes aren't significant and the statement isn't uploaded, you're probably safe, but you might want to rewrite it again a bit to make sure the voice sounds like your own (interviews where you're not as smart as you seemed in your statement are just going to look a bit suspect to uni admissions teams). Hope this helps!
