Can I transfer from one UK medical school to another?

I am currently a second year med student at a UK university. Due to many circumstances, I am quite interested in transferring universities to be closer to home. Is anyone aware of any situations where this has been allowed? Or know of any universities that may allow this (obviously provided I succeed in whatever their application process is)? Any info would be greatly appreciated :smile:

You can make enquiries but this happens so rarely that for all intents and purposes it's not possible. Still, you have nothing to lose by sending some emails.
