Surfaces and textures art gcse mock

Hi, I'm doing my year 11 mock on surfaces and textures and I'm not sure what sort of route to go down for it. I would love to hear some suggestions 😊

They sure pick very unusual/semi-difficult topics for your mocks.

There are various pieces that explore textures. A quick google search can show you an array of pieces.

I'm more of an impressionist and Van Gogh fan, so I would pick a route that allows me to do a piece similiar to those.

Having said that, there's nothing stopping you from exploring a variety of techniques and employing a variety of mediums e.g. strings, scourers, iron filings, combs, sprays, powders, etc.

The thing I would really do is to do various studies on the sort of surfaces and textures that you want to look into. The possibilities are normally endless.
