Oxford Predicteds

Thinking of applying to Oxford for Russian. Entry requirements are 3 As. I have 1A* and 2As predicted but the A* isn't in Russian. Given Oxford is incredibly competitive and most get 3A*s that get in, should I bother applying?

Oxford have reiterated many times (I've been to their most recent Open day) that they take A-level predicted grades with a pinch of salt. Many schools wil be over-generous with their grades while others are incredibly stingy. I would simply work hard, putting effort into areas of your application you can control and hoping to make it to interview where they weed out those that simply received inflated predicteds.
