Ucas codes

Looking at courses at different Uni's.... some are Bsc and some are BA but have the same UCAS codes? confusing, can anyone help please?

The UCAS codes dont mean anything significant. Its just a convention to group certain subject types together - and some Unis dont use this anyway. It does not mean they have the same syllabus or degree content.

BA/BSc doesnt mean much either - some Unis will call all Humanities / Social Science subject degrees a BA and others might call Social Science subjects BSc. It has no significance at all - one is not 'better' than the other, and it wont make any difference whatever to your future job chances.

The most important thing is does that degree course at that Uni interest you - check the optional units for all years of each course carefully. Not all degrees are the same !
