Open university help

I found it difficult for various reasons to attend college for art and design this year and my tutor has recommended that I look at online courses as a pathway to get to uni for 2024 entry. I’m 19 and looking to do the open college of arts textiles foundation course (through open university) does anybody know if these foundation courses the same as face to face foundation courses in the sense that it’ll allow me to apply to uni when completed? Or will I need to apply for a level 3 course instead to be able to get to uni in 2024? I want to start in November this year and hopefully get into uni next year.. please can anyone give pointers as to with which course i would need to apply for. Also, do their degrees give proper qualifications? That will allow me to get to any uni through UCAS or will they only let me study at open university? Thank you!
