intrusive thoughts about embarrassing moments

Does anyone else ever just go about their day and then get a terrible intrusive thought about a time you embarrassed yourself in front of a lot of people?

Like I'll just be listening to music and start practically convulsing when remembering a severely embarrassing moment and then sometimes ending up having a panic attack about it.
It's really terrible because I feel embarrassed to exist around the people it happened around.

Does anyone know how to stop this? it literally makes me not want to leave the house and have nobody see me.
The answer to your final question is therapy. Which you should discuss options about with your GP if it's preventing you from functioning in your day to day life or leaving the house.
