Stress Management

Hello all,
I am carrying out some research for a project of mine looking into different symptoms of stress and how it makes us feel/behave.
It would be great if you could answer any of the questions below:

1. What symptoms of stress/anxiety do you experience?
e.g. sweaty palms, shaking, panic attacks, irritability etc.

2. What sort of environments do you find yourself to get stressed/anxious in?
e.g. school, when giving presentations, speaking to new people, driving etc.

3. How do you find yourself to overcome these feelings of stress?
e.g. breathing exercises, meditation, exercise etc.

Thank you for your time! I look forward to hearing from you

Hi there!

For some context, I'm a second year fashion design student.

For question 1: I can definitely be irritable when I'm stressed! I find that I am so fixated on why I am feeling stressed, that everything else going on around me is so annoying.

For question 2: I can sometimes feel stressed in timed situations, like meeting a deadline or having time pressure to complete tasks. I think this is why I like to plan so much, so I know how much time I have to complete my tasks.

For question 3: When I'm stressed I always make lists. Usually I feel stressed if I have lots of things to do and feel I have no time to do them. So by writing things down, I feel like I'm taking the stressful thoughts out of my mind and onto the paper.

I hope this helps with your research!
Emily
