PGDL or MSc in Environmental Policy?

I have been working as a journalist covering climate change and energy policy for the past couple of years, but I'd ideally like to work for a think tank or NGO. I have been considering UCL's MSc in Environment, Politics and Society, alongside a couple of other courses, but am unsure if this provides a stable career route.

On the other hand, I am also interested in environmental law and the possibility of litigating against the fossil fuel industry, but from what I have heard, these jobs are rare.

Which offers better career prospects - the MSc or the PGDL? Any feedback is much appreciated, thanks
