Chat about teeth having an overbite is making me depressed

I have an overbite too. What about it is making you depressed?

Going on a bit of a ramble, I used to have braces, but before getting them I had retainers to "fix" my overbite, which I suppose it did. However, it also meant that my molars couldn't connect properly as there was a slight gap, which sometimes made eating an exhausting endeavour as I had to push food towards my front teeth so that I could actually chew (I was told my molars would somehow connect eventually and I would be able to chew properly, but that never happened). Honestly, I genuinely hated having how my jaw was as my tongue would get tired from eating, and now that my overbite returned I'm much happier. Also there was very little change in how I looked, so it didn't really accomplish its one goal.

Talk about braces. I am also planning to get braces in the near future because my lower jaw is a bit protruding. It makes my mouth feel like it's toothless. So I want to ask you a reputable address for braces and how much does it cost?

I got braces through the NHS, so they were free for me. If you want to go private, then you will have to go searching yourself. Unfortunately I don’t know what the ballpark price for braces would be, but I’m sure you can find out fairly easily.
