Career Advice - Law with a Quantitative Finance degree

Evening all (goodness, it has been a while since I have posted on here)!
I am posting to ask for some advice. I am currently studying Accounting & Financial Management at a top Russell group university - I won’t state the exact university for privacy reasons. However, I have always had a desire to venture into the legal career.

One of the main reasons why I have not chosen to complete a legal degree is because I know that it is not necessary and may as well cover the content during a one year PGDL.

My question is whether it would be possible to land a training contract with a degree in Accounting & Financial Management? I am predicted to gain a first class degree and also have very high A level results. I have a wealth of experience in both the financial and legal industries (mainly to keep both career directions covered)! I just do not know if the legal firms often hire individuals with a finance oriented degree since most people that study finance end up in financial services.

Thank you:smile:
