Selling revision online

I was thinking about selling my GCSE and A Level notes online, but wasn’t sure if it was worth it and if so where would be the best place to sell them. I know there are websites like Stuvia and StudyPool but I’m assuming they make some profit (?), but I also imagine my notes would be more popular on a website specifically for selling notes opposed to something like Etsy or EBay. Any thoughts?

I and some of my friends have bought notes from Etsy so I would recommend there

Do you mind if I ask how much you roughly make per month and what you’re selling

I sell my notes on Stuvia. Started in June 2023 and have made over £800 and hope to make more before the exams end this year - I literally can’t recommend Stuvia enough. They do take some money for each purchase but the website is superrr easy to use and to upload notes on.

I mostly sell politics notes but have also sold history and English lit. Summer months following exams are quieter but March-June are big selling notes. If you keep the price reasonable and sell quality notes there is no reason you would not succeed!!

I worked on docmerit and earned a steady income of $500 monthly by selling my revision notes. You can give it a try!

Yes, all A-Level notes! For politics, I section the essay plans by paper and sell them by which paper they are for. I wrote 50+ essay plans for each paper and so they are £15. I also sell a bundle for essay plans for all three papers which I sell for £40. For topic notes those are £10. For other subjects I just do it by how much I think they are worth - you have to consider: how much of the course do they cover, are they in-depth, what grade could these achieve etc. Generally, the longer, more in-depth and course-wide essay plans or notes should be more expensive though it will depend. Also remember you are selling to students who don’t have a lot of money generally. Though at the same time you want to make money and, for example, my essay plans are for sale for £15 but I only get around £9.30 per sale. Lmk if you have any more questions - hope this helps!!

I uploaded some notes to sell a few months ago but they’re barely getting any views, even tho they’re pretty good. Any tips on how to get viewings up??
