Hey there!

This is a really great question, and a super important one too!

Our Student Ambassador Elena is a wheelchair user and has worked closely though her degree with the Disability and Support team. She is on our Unibuddy platform.

To chat to Elena click here and you can ask her all about her experience.

You can also check out her blog 'Embracing Accessibility: Meet the Disability Services Team!' here!

I hope this helps and you get the answers you're looking for 😊

Best wishes,
Amelia - University of Plymouth

They're pretty rubbish, if your class isn't accessible they just blame timetabling. Want a PEEP form, you just get told to wait in your classroom until you know it's a fire. Fire Marshall leave before classes finished anyway. And the bullying is rampant. But photocopying pictures and putting them online, calling people slurs and being physically assaulted is nothing because "he'll mature" so he still gets a teaching degree. Don't bother with plymouth if you're disabled they literally don't care.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to feedback. I am sorry to hear of your experiences. There are quite a few points in your feedback, it would be good to talk these through with you to make sure appropriate next steps/advice is given. If you are happy to, it would be good to contact the Student Hub to talk about them, you can either pop into the Library or contact us at [email protected] or 01752 587676.

Many thanks,
Amelia - University of Plymouth
