Biochem to Med chem
Hi guys, I'm applying for university this year and have a real passion for organic chemistry, drug design, synthesis, and I guess by proxy, biochemistry. I've applied to medicinal chemistry at 4 unis so far, but I went to visit Edinburgh and fell in love with the city. I think it would be a great place to study.
There's only one problem, that being that I can't study medicinal chemistry there because I didn't take maths A-level. i can, however take biochemistry, so my question is: how easy it would be to go from a batchelors/master in biochem to a masters/ docterate progam in organic chemistry/ synthesis?
any help or advice would be greatly appricated
