Economics with no exams?

Are economics courses without exams worth it? How are they viewed versus courses that use exam assessments?

Do employers care?

Do employers care?

How would employers know whether you've sat exams versus just done coursework? Most employers don't even ask for proof of grades beyond what you write on your CV, let alone check whether you did exams.

But the more important point is that most courses that don't make you do exams, are likely to be pretty poor courses - and employers will care about what uni you studied at if you're looking to go into economics/finance/consulting/etc.

Is this how economics courses without exams / low exam components are perceived?

Are there actually economics courses that don't require any exams?
