GCSE resits for medical school

Well, my grades weren’t horrible i got five 9s two 8s two 7s and two 6s
I got a 6 in English Language so I’m looking to resit it, does anyone know if imperial or kcl look at resit gcses?

You already meet Imperial GCSE requirements - they only require a 6 in English language (which you have) and don't score GCSEs otherwise. So no need to resit for them.

You also meet the minimum requirement at KCL for English language, but they do shortlist on the basis of GCSEs (unlike Imperial which only has minimum requirements as I understand). They state resit applicants may be less competitive but this seems to mostly be framed in terms of A-level requirements and resits.
