Two days before mocks is a little too late to be trying new memory-retention techniques, unfortunately. As with most things, it takes time and effort.

This article covers eleven different research-backed approaches you could try (if you had more time). However, the emphasis is not on short-term memory, but on long-term memory. That's what you need to the information you learn to survive, and be useful in your actual exams.
