For many people a new year can be a fresh start and is a great time to set new goals and challenges, most commonly known as New Year's Resolutions.

Here are some New Year's resolutions that you could consider:

- Prioritise your mental health and wellbeing.
- Try a new food every week or month.
- Make time for yourself.
- Make some new friends.
- Don't say yes to everything if you don't want to.

If you are a health student, try and set yourself goals that you want to achieve by the end of 2024. Some examples could be:

- Have a positive attitude.
- Focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively.
- Speak up if you have a question.
- Say yes to further learning opportunities and development.
- Observe as many procedures as you can.
