UCAS Application Checklist

Hi all,

The UCAS deadline is fast approaching on 31st January at 18:00 (UK time) and it is the case that some people are struggling or worrying about their application!

Here are a list of things that you may not have covered so that you can get your application in on time. Feel free to comment below if you want to add anything!

- Have you made your 5 choices?
- Have you included any relevant work or voluntary experience?
- Is your personal statement completed? Has it been thoroughly looked over for any grammatical errors? Have you included the relevant information?
- Have you gotten a reference from your school or college?
- Have you ensured to reply to any offers?
- Have you checked the status of your offers on UCAS Hub?

- it’s not compulsory to use all 5 choices
- the employment section is for paid employment only, voluntary work shouldn’t be listed
- it’s not possible to submit without a reference or without explicitly stating that your universities have agreed to no reference. The process for getting a reference varies substantially depending on whether an application is through a centre or individual
- it’s not possible to reply to offers prior to applying
- again it’s not possible to check the status of offers on Hub prior to applying
