Hi, I’m thinking of applying for an LLM at UCL in Intellectual Property. I just finished my second year now. I wanted to ask how you found the application process, and when is the best time to apply in third year?

hey! i started my application as soon as they opened around end of Sep/ beginning of October time and i submitted it by later December. They have a rolling admissions process so there is no deadline but the earlier you send off the better (I recommend before January). The process was pretty straight forward. They ask for your details, current transcript and also a 750 word essay in the area you wish to study (for you it would be a topic Intellectual Property). After assessing and if needed contacting you for any other details, they get back with an offer/rejection.

Ah! That makes sense. Best to apply as early as possible. Since you applied around December time, did you apply with your second year grades and your predicted degree classification? Or did you complete your degree and then apply the following September for the following year? Thank you so much for imparting your knowledge!
