HELP: SOAS asking for sending reference separately
Hi,
My referee has already submitted their reference to UCAS alongside my application, but now SOAS is requesting me to ask my referee to send their reference directly to SOAS's undergrad admissions team.
Is this normal? Or they could just access the reference uploaded to UCAS?

Hi there! We may ask for an alternative reference if the reference provided wasn't adequate or the referee didn't comment on academic ability (or if you're applying for year 2 and the reference wasn't from your most recent institution).
