I have an offer for bio at wadham and I was just wondering if there was anyone else who was going for biology and how you're feeling?

I've got an offer for bio at Keble. Looking forward to it (as long as I get the grades). An essay every week sounds pretty tough but I'm sure we'll get used to it.

I'm kind of looking forward to it, ngl, it's been so long since I've had the chance to actually write about biology

Hello, I can't assist re biology but I am a graduate of Wadham and I just want to say that it's a wonderful college. The Oxford experience in general is amazing - academic intensity and a social whirl. Congrats on getting a place, and I hope you have a blast.

Hi, my son has an offer at Wadham to study Biology - we went to the offer holder day on Monday. He isn't on this site yet but I'll ask him to set up an account!

I was there too! It seemed very lovely but unfortunately I didn't get to meet anyone doing bio in person. That sounds fab, thanks!

Well done that’s great! I am a current year 12 student who would love to study Biology at Oxford for 2025. Do you have any good advice on how to have a strong application and anything I should be doing/reading? Thank you!

I would just say cultivate what you're interested in in, my personal statement was on menopause in killer whales and the role of sexism in science. Obviously yours doesn't have to be that political, but just consume anything relevant to a specific area of interest you have. They want you to be specific about what you're interested in. And if you don't have a specific interest find one or make one up! See if there are any talks, or if there's any pivotal books you should be reading.

And also, just be yourself, they want interesting people to deal with for the next three to four years.

Hi! I'm applying this year for 2025 entry for Bio at Oxford and was wondering if you had any advice/tips for the interview? How did you find it? Thank you so much! Look forward to hearing back 🙂

Hi! I'm also applying this year for 2025 entry for Oxford Bio and was wondering how important were GCSEs results in the application process (e.g. how many 9s/8s did you have)?
