I applied for midwifery for the September 2024 intake, but have been given an offer to start in February 2025, how different is this to starting in September and why might they give me a feb 2025 offer Instead thank you.

Sounds like the September 2024 intake is full as reasons why they offering you the following February 2025 due to limited numbers for intake.
No difference at all bets starting dates - you'll complete your degree about five months later.
